RE: Sold UNI to PowerUp 6K HIVE - Getting Closer to My target of 50K HP...
Well done man! Giving you a follow. Here's to many great returns! And I'm sure you'll make that goal - you should easily pick up a good chunk in that time by curating. :-) Cheers cc @blocktrades

I prefer the term oligarchy that you used in a prior comment to the comparison to a Royal Family. One is gained via inheritance, and the other usually comes from hard work to achieve the position. Even

That chart is responsible for a lot of emotional FUD these days (or would that be the opposite?). You know the tune by now, everything is going to come from dapps, SMTs, now wrapped HIVE sent to DeFi,

... curating well is a huge amount of work, so only altruistic curators really do it. And they, ironically, are exactly the people who should be most rewarded, don't you think? The more I read, and the

I would say that you are correct. If the minority is a content creator (meaning really receiving meaningful author rewards) and the majority is a consumer of that content (meaning zero author rewards)

IDK But if we remember that at the heart of the matter, we're all miners, that we’re mining, or, better said, in this case, 'minting', 'staking', or what have you, but, essentially we are mining. It’s

I'm like you. And here I am too, a couple of hours a day, curating, manually, and very poorly, at that, upvoting comments I like because I think that is what this is all about, EVEN THOUGH I am penalized

But the self-voting was with a 25/75 split. With the 50/50 split, it may be a bit different, in fact, I'd bet it'd be a lot different. And comments would once again be upvoted just as much as original

I just dropped you a 100% upvote because, 1) you deserve it, and 2) that is how I manage to distribute my daily 20% recharge. I don't have but a couple of hours a day to dedicate to HIVE, so I give 100%

I guess it all really comes down to time frame and how much each individual is willing to put into it. HIVE is great now in-so-far as foundations for long term success go. Without those foundations, there

My question exactly. Isn't there a way to distinguish between the manual and automatic votes? Leave things like they are for the manual votes, and send the automatic votes back to the rewards pool.

I think we have a very attractive inflation rate, all things considered. People also want some steady return. We don't have to look any further than DeFi to see that. Cutting the inflation rate now would

Absolutely. BTC is THE blue chip of crypto. No doubt. And from that point on it's really a question of individual investor risk tolerance. The altcoins are more speculative, again, without a doubt, but
