It's funny that the only metric you use for giving value to the platform is purely based on how much I've powered down. When in fact "holding value on the platform" in the form of Steem/Hive is actually self interest dressed up as "caring for the community". You are investing and when a person invests, they hope their returns will be bigger than their initial amount.

I was one of the first to create a curation magazine, later teamed up with @donkeypong and then went on to create another magazine trying to get whales to notice new and undervalued talent.

All that I just did for zero reward or in fact any hope of any reward, I did it because I wanted this place to grow. Then of course there are the countless competitions I have run even though I'm far from a whale. I have given away hundreds of dollars in prizes.

Add to that, I was the first voice to advocate for rewarding comments, this was amongst my first 10 articles, I argued that comments added value to posts and therefore should be rewarded. On top of that I ran some comment competitions on articles that weren't even mine, giving away my SBD simply to get other people noticed.

So when you turn round to me and talk about how much I've powered down, without even being aware of my financial situation it makes me pretty mad actually.

You talk about a collection of behaviours, I cite the words I've written above, I've done a fuck of a lot for this community with a lot less resources than people like yourself, so don't talk to me about "collection of behaviours".

Also I have never written an "I Quit" post, rather I have talked about the flaws in the platform leading me to post less, which I am.

Anyway, this reply is less for you and more for people who read your reply and just blindly agree with you, without actually checking out what I've done for the platform.
