Tottenham was winning 1-0 when they were disallowed a goal because of a shoulder that was off side, no doubt it was an off side well called by the referee, but then if it hadn't been for VAR nobody would have noticed.

Even though I'm an Arsenal fan and am always happy to see Tottenham lose, I'm not sure about this VAR thing. It's fine when it is clear cut, like a deliberate handball, or foul, or blatant offside, however when it is a shoulder or toe I think it spoils the game.

It is hard because it would mean ignoring the letter of the law to allow these goals, and Spurs themselves benefited last year in the Champion's League semi-final and also this year against my team in the derby against Arsenal.

What do you think; has it spoiled or enhanced the game?

By the way Milan-Inter today was played at San Siro stadium because Milan was home team, when Inter is home team it is called Giuseppe Meazza.

I believe this is something new; I used to watch a lot of Italian football in the 90s (when Gazza played for Lazio) and I never noticed this quirk. Maybe they had it then and I just didn't realise, but I'm sure this is a new thing.
