After making this contraption I had an issue with the alcohol dripping out while trying to take a sample of my bee-mite count. After thinking about it for awhile, I figured that after placing a half cup of bees in the alcohol solution I will use a separate cap just for that jar and then shake the bees and then connect the 2 jars and flip over to get my mite count.
