Good evening!
As i mentioned in my last post i haven't been online for quite a while. Due to different events happening in and around my life i was not able to do anything here.
My first project failed due to the lack of interest. But around 3 months ago I came up with the probably first community website for a cryptocurrency. In our daily life's we use Bitcointalk, Medium, Twitter, etc. Social media that is just well known and easy to access.
Speaking for myself, I have been interested in one cryptocurrency for ages - The NVO Project (www.nvo.io). I had a careful read through their whitepaper and i was amazed from day one - probably the reason I have been one of a couple early investors in this project.
So going forward some months, i had the thought "Why not create a community website for it? That would be awesome!". Without even thinking about it too much, i bought myself the domain www.nvocommunity.com and started to work on it.
As it probably is with every new website, the first design isn't always the best and you can think of 100 better designs while coding it - but i carried on coding on it since i've already told the community about it and i'm just a person who needs to get things done as soon as possible... well at least when it's about coding :P
So there i was, the first design, the first feedback, all great. You might think why would you create an community website when you have all that websites which basically do it for you? - Because all those other websites like coinmarketcap.com have the focus on providing just enough information about a cryptocurrency but no deep details.
Uuuhmm.. what is NVO?
NVO stands for New Venture Opportunities and is meant to take on new technology in a decentralized economy.
What makes NVO more special than let's say another decentralized exchange?
The NVO team takes lots and lots of time to develop the blockchain so it's perfect. Once the blockchain is set up and running, changes can hardly be made. They don't mind and so doesn't the community about delays of the exchange(s) and the wallet, because we are convinced that only precise work will get the job done.
Furthermore there is another topic that needs to be sorted out. Imagine you are a small cryptocurrency (small on the current market), you don't have money because of different reasons but you want to be listed on an exchange to get it going. Well, the journey would end right here folks. No money means no opportunities of unleash the possible great potential.
What's the point of having a decentralized exchange but the owners can still interfere and make changes (delisting a currency, etc.)? Exactly. There is no point in it.
The NVODEX will change that. No interference. Nothing. Nada. Every what so little cryptocurrency team has the chance to list their coins/tokens on the DEX and let it trade!
Oh sorry, i got carried away here. Let's go back to the community website. We have now reached the stage of one clean looking user interface, great user experience and enough useful information! You even have a dividend calculator - can't beat that!
Out of UX reasons i have decided to not advertise on this website, since it just would take away space and let's be true, it would annoy you. Go on coinmarketcap if you like advertisments. :P NVOCommunity.com is only kept alive by donations and one hell of an awesome community. Great feedback by the way - thank you for helping me improve it more! And hopefully continue doing so!

There aren't any twitter updates and the project seems dead? That's not the case at all! Visit the discord channel to find out more about that: https://discordapp.com/invite/tHBSMt
Have a good one!
