Recently, Zhiniang Peng form Qihoo 360 core security have posted in his blog, pointed out that on 15th, August, the team discovered that there is a denial of service vulnerability in the NEO smart contract platform. The team connected with NEO to illustrate the details of the vulnerability through email after discovering and testing the vulnerability. Erik Zhang, the founder of NEO finished testing and confirming the existence of the vulnerability in seven minutes after receiving the email and submitted the bug fix in 56 minutes which avoid the vulnerability being abducted by the perpetrator. Afterward, the team was given to 1000 NEO coin.
