Crime rate has increased among the youths which is a serious issue many parts of the world are facing now. Before I talk about the measures to reduce or stop the crimes, lets figure out the causes of the youth crime.
Parents/Family
Living in a scattered and unorganized family can also be the root cause of youths committing crime. Most of the parents don't check on their children all they focus is their work schedules because they believe that working hard will make their children future bright. This now give them the right not to give their children parental attention.
Consequently, due to the lack of attention from the parents the children will involve themselves in delinquent activities that will attract their parents' attention. They will watch movies above their age and movies with violent content which will trigger them to commit crime. By them watching this unsuitable scenes everyday without parental guidance, they will try to imitate negative acts which includes, killing, sexual acts and assault.
There are steps to take to mitigate this issue. Parents should always make out quality time and spend with their children by so doing they will know what the children are lacking and their behaviour.
Parents should reduce the amount of time there children spend at staring technological devices screens and they should monitor the kind of movies the kids watch if it is suitable for them.
Government Policy And Lack Of Education
Another causes leading to youth crime are government policy and lack of education. Generally, it is said that youth under the age of 18 years old can't go to jail because of the government policy. Because of this policy the youths now behave the way want due to the government policy protecting them. Also most of the the youths who are undergraduates or who lack education from their parents, will start having some social issues.
To solve this issues, the government should improve the law and follow all youths in serious ways. I know children or youths can not have the same punishment with an adult, they should be given a punishment that matches with their crime.

Although youth crime rate is increasing everyday by day if serious measures are been carried out the crimes can be averted by numerous means, which includes creating employment opportunities for the youths and parental guidance.
