Tasteem Review: Daj-Dam Bakery
What do you normally get for a bakery snack? It's usually hotdogs, sandwiches or pizza. Generally there's little vegetarian options, unless you go for bread! Pictured below you can find Burek (in the round trays, usually beef), pizzas (salami?) and hotdogs above.
Instead of the usual savoury meaty snacks on offer, we picked a strudel like pastry with two different fillings - apple and hazelnut. It was big and cheap too. The only downside was the filling was quite little, leaving the strudel quite dry to eat.
The place was busy because they open to midnight which is unusual for shops in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Overall, this place was a nice place to eat some vegetarian snacks, I don't think vegan snacks are available here though as most things will have either egg, milk or cheese.
