Californian start-up DCEX is working on the launch of a new trading platform for crypto assets. Behind DCEX stands the DLT service provider AlphaPoint, which has set itself the goal of enabling companies and institutions Blockchain solutions. The special feature of the new Digital Asset Exchange: It is the first exchange that uses the ripple token XRP as basis.
San Francisco-based crypto exchange DCEX will be the world's first crypto trading center to use Ripples Token XRP as the base token. In the next weeks the registration for the new stock exchange should be open to all interested parties.
Accordingly, XRP can be traded on DCEX against the US $ fiat currency as well as against a total of 15 cryptocurrencies. These cryptocurrencies are Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Ethereum Classic (ETC), OmiseGo (OMG), EOS (EOS), DASH (DASH), Tron (TRX), Monero (XMR), VeChain (VEN), IOTA (IOTA), ZCash (ZEC), and TrueUSD (TUSD). So they decided to use TUSD as a stable coin and thus against the classic stable coin tether (USDT). There are also plans for the adaptation of Neo (NEO) and Cardano (ADA).
In addition to offering to trade the market's largest cryptocurrencies against XRP, AlphaPoint has other benefits in the press release. Thus one could exploit the Arbitrage between currency pairs at different stock exchanges, since XRP makes seamless transfers between stock exchanges possible.
The speed of transfers is also an issue. For example, DCEX targets a transaction volume of up to one million transactions per second. In addition, XRP block chain transactions should be completed in less than four seconds. This enables faster multi-exchange strategies.
DCEX also advertises low transaction fees. Market participants should be able to quickly move XRP between DCEX and other marketplaces with low network transaction costs, as the XRP protocol supports low transfer costs. There is also the possibility of margin trading.
