I agree about the season being rushed. It's nice that they managed to close the main characters' stories, but the 2-hour finale wasn't enough. It should have been a 12-episode season, instead.

And while I don't mind the relationships, they focused on it too much that they had no more time to tell the story. For example, I would have liked to see more of the Archipelago, who they are, and how they work. Then there's Sun's brother whose story was just wrapped up with a simple news report. And of course, Whispers, its lazy that they defeated him, just like that.

I also share your fears about The Matrix 4. There were a lot of pacing issues in the series that will be terrible if it happens in an action movie like The Matrix.
