I agree that tv networks are on their way out. But they probably won't disappear completely, they could just merge with streaming and become a tv/streaming hybrid. Like with ABC/Disney+, HBO/Warner Brothers/HBOMax, and CBS/CBS All Access.

In fact, as far as streaming wars go, Netflix, despite its current dominance could be in trouble. They are on top right now, but they don't own IP the same way that Disney and Warner Brothers do. As much as I love their original shows, they don't have a lot of them. And they are in danger of losing acquired shows over the next several years to competitors, too.
