I agree. Regardless of what happens to Hollywood, whether it dies out or changes shape, people still want to watch films. I'm pretty sure most moviegoers don't even care how a film is made as long as it is entertaining.
I like the idea of decentralized filmmaking. And it's not unthinkable, either especially with crowdfunded films already getting made. So far, there isn't much success there, yet, but it's still early days. All it takes is one success for decentralized films to gain traction.
