OmiX Token Allocation and Distribution
As mentioned in the previous article, there are 3 billion OmiX tokens in total and 33% of them are allocated for ICO sale which is held during 16 April to 16 May 2018. It means that for the ICO sale, there are 990 million tokens available. The rest of the tokens are allocated for different parties. 90 million tokens, for example, are dedicated for the community of Shivom ecosystem. Meanwhile, 420 million OmiX tokens are allocated for the company founders so they can develop the project. 300 million tokens are allocated for advisors including the early backers. 600 million tokens are allocated to the database. They will be secured in a smart contract and later used to incentivize data generation. The rest of the tokens are reserved by the company. The company will use them to run the foundation and for future data contribution.
Meanwhile, the proceeds from the token sale will be distributed largely for further development of the Shivom platform. This includes metadata curating, database building, and APIs and UI integration.
