Spring is finally coming to Chicago as of yesterday (it snowed as recently as Wednesday) and I grabbed this picture of Lakeshore East and Lake Michigan beyond. Lakeshore East is a small area surrounding a park just east of Chicago's downtown loop. It is incredible that this whole neighborhood was a 9-hole golf course only 20yrs ago or so. Now it has numerous highrises, restaurants, easy access to the lake and easy access to all sorts of touristy stuff in the area. Definitely a spot to swing by during any visit.
I just loved how blue the lake and sky looked in this picture! Hopefully, things continue to warm up and it will be summer in no time!
