He will take the deal as it is a great offer and he is definitely not stupid. He was a shareholder at Williams and the shares were meant to be sold and somehow they weren't. He then helped Aston Martin buying shares with Lawrence Stroll and ended up a share holder with that team as well. Everything he does he seems to do well and is fortunate that way.
