Yesterday the Governance team from LBI did a post regarding the dividends payouts which have been on hold since the start of the project. If you haven't read it here it is.
@lbi-gov/voting-upon-weekly-dividends-2nd-vote

As projects go this is one for the record books if allowed to grow at it's current pace. silverstackeruk@silverstackeruk mentioned in his lbi-token@lbi-token report last night that this week we should see Leo at 1.15 to 1 LBI at the next report which is week 11 of everyone holding back on dividends for 12 weeks/3 months.

Yes the project has been helped by the CUB airdrop which has inflated the stats but there is also Project Blanc coming to add to this. 15% growth could easily turn into 25% or even 30% if given the chance of everyone holding back another 12 weeks relinquishing their dividends.

What we are seeing now is accumulative growth and when everyone bought the token we were all under no illusion that this was long term. I just don't get why people are voting to have the dividends now when it is going to make more creating a stronger foundation for the entire project.

The opportunities that could arise over the next 3 months could be huge and having more Leo in Lbi benefits us all invested in the project. When I invested I wrote it off for long term and wasn't looking at how much I could make from it immediately. Another 3 months could in theory double your dividend payout going forward making you more in the long term anyway. This is why I decided to write about this today as the longer we hold off the better it is for everyone.

It is everyone's right to vote the way they want to but understanding what is better long term for everyone needs also to be understood clearly. I think I could understand the reasons why people wanted their payouts if Leo was $10 and LBI was worth $20 but besides a few big stake holders what would a weekly dividend do for you right now. Maybe we should be asking the lbi-gov@lbi-gov team to tell us what the amount would be per 100 Lbi so we at least know before saying Yes or No. Also maybe a forecast of dividend payouts if we held off for another 3 months so everyone can clearly see the difference. silverstackeruk@silverstackeruk I am sure wont mind as he loves figure work and stats.

There is still 2 weeks to go before the first dividend is due on the 28th March so rather find out now what the value is you are expecting or reinvesting prior to making a final decision. Whatever the vote I am happy with anyway, but just wanted to highlight this as having more information may aid you in which way everyone votes.
