The other day when the Champions League draw was taking place there was an obvious elephant in the room. I am sure most people didn't realise what could have unfolded, but luckily it didn't. The UEFA officials must have been having sleepless nights and been in a cold sweat when the draw was taking place.
Two teams who are bitter rivals were in the draw and they haven't faced each other since 1990. If you read my last post it is the same two teams. Dynamo Zagreb and Crvena Zvezda which translated from Serbian is Red Star Belgrade. Thankfully they dodged being drawn in the same pool and everyone can sleep easy for another year. The chances of them qualifying further and facing each other is slim to no chance.

Red Star parked a tank outside their stadium and drove around in a troop carrier.
When they qualified recently to play in the Champions League they kind of celebrated a little differently, but had a dig at each other.Red Star used a show of force by displaying a tank. When quizzed a government official said they didn't belong to the military, but a private collector.
The day will come at some point in the future where they will have to play each other. Maybe a "friendly" needs to be organised between them to break the ice.
