Time is money if you have invested in the right project. The longer the investment the more growth and wealth that should be accumulated.
Over the next 5 - 10 years there will be serious amounts of wealth being amassed by those that have invested for the long term hold. Once you have done the homework or DYOR required which is the most important pat of any investment then you need to have the conviction and confidence to grow your stake with that project.
Many may think 5 or 10 years is a long time but realistically this is not a whole lot of time. I have been with Hive for nearly 55 months already so it would be a serious commitment that is required, but ever so rewarding in the long term.
I was actually asked this today as how long am I prepared to wait on an investment as there should be no time frame as long as it is the right project. Doing the research will give you the confidence to stick with it through the thick and thin as the value will eventually show.
Too many are not prepared to do the time required as they are more about quick profits which is fine, but these profits will not be life changing. Go big or go home is what we have always heard and doing the time is the going big part in the investment.
The early bird gets the worm but not necessarily the whole worm as they are not patient enough. If we take Hive as a prime example when we moved blockchains so much has changed with so much value being added through development. The ATH achieved last year in November is a direct reflection of this but the project is still so young with so much more to come. Imagine cashing out too soon because you haven't taken the time to understand where the projects you have invested in are going and could also show a lack of confidence.
Every investment I have these days is for the long term hold using the compounding interest affect which automatically grows the stake along with the APR on offer. We all know this actually works as long as the time element is allowed to take affect and that is anything over 5 years or longer. The time is what is going to generate the extras and make the biggest growth difference long term.
