Over the last few weeks we have seen Hive increase in value by as much as 75% which is a massive rise in price. The one difference is this is not a pump and has been gradually going up in stages and holding it's value.
We have seen less Hive on the exchanges due to what seems Hive being bought and converted into HBD plus the new accounts being created due to the demand of Splinterlands. All of this is not going unnoticed it seems as already today Hive is up 23%.
As an investor the one think you hunt for is undervalued gems and Hive is definitely ticking all the boxes. Development along with a growing community should be having Hive ranked within the top 100 on Coinmarketcap. Over the last few years we have kind of tumbled down the list as there is not many that no exactly what Hive really is.
Yes we hardforked from the old chain but what has been developed on here since then which was only 18 months ago cannot be compared in the same way as back then. We haven't done renovations on here but have gutted and rebuilt making huge improvements and it is the total opposite of what is available there. This is what is possible when you have decentralization with everyone involved working towards the same end game. The further the price gap evolves the better as being compared to the old chain is somewhat very unfair.
I may be biased in some ways but see Hive like a few other projects I have invested in as I do see a bright future ahead. This is one of the main reasons why I see Hive along with projects like AVA and COTI going places as there is always something going on. Development never ends and no one is sitting on their laurels hoping for something. There is no hoping here as things are being made to happen and that is the difference between a majority of the projects out there.
What I find encouraging is Leo is keeping pace with Hive also up by over 30 % so far today and that is reward for another team doing development work consistently.
Hive has plenty in the gas tank and knowing what we know is happening on here things are looking up big time. How much must Hive be before everyone starts to take notice and ask questions what is Hive? The projects that sneak along under the radar are the ones that explode in value at some point once everyone finds out. I don't think we are quite there yet but people are finding Hive slowly.
I must admit I would still like Splinterlands to highlight to every account holder about Hive informing them what they have. This is something that can be pushed and should be pushed as having 10 000 new accounts per day there has to be some overflow and uptake on Hive. These are accounts looking to earn playing a game so surely they fit the right type of users Hive is looking for.
