You are a bit ballsy and I guess you have no choice really as no one else is going to do this. At least this is a fairly small project and you have some sort of idea where this is all heading which helps. The movement of the cables has already improved things so you are doing it right. Keen to see how this ends up as I know you underestimate your abilities.
