The breaking the locking period starts at a max of 2% and reduces slowly each day until the 360 day period is up. So if you have 6 months left you only pay 1% in penalties which is not that much considering your stake has been earning more than that. I was hesitant in the beginning on how long to lock up, but it is minimal in the bigger picture of what we earn.
