She does look like a different dog after the hair cut and as much as she hates it this must be far cooler for her. I hate the nail clipping as I would also do it if I knew how far to cur because they do have nerves there some where. I will ask the vet or doggie groomer next time whoever visits first. We had one dog who preened her own nails and she was one of a kind as all my other dogs never did this.
