I think it is the same for all dogs as Brock was getting aggressive when they started cutting his nails. My parrot is also meant to get her claws done, but I bought a sand coated perch so she can wear hers down naturally. I am not sure how far you can cut before hitting blood vessels and why I am hesitant to cut them myself.
