I think you are not taking into account that the club is still in breach of their wage cap. They have something like 30% to still get down and this is not over yet. I see reports of them wanting to buy players but where is the money coming from? They have basically sold their television rights for the next 20 years and Barcelona are not out of the woods yet, not by a long way.
