Lol. It is a shit show and yes the plan is to move to the Algarve in the next couple of years. We visited there in February on more of a reconnaissance mission and I have been looking at various business ideas looking from outside in seeing what is missing or could be improved upon. The Algarve like you know is very much tourist related with roughly 5 million tourists arriving for a 4 month period. There is a large expat population there as well so my mind has been working over time to find a service I can provide and have a few ideas. Retiring is not me and I need to do something.

Unfortunately the UK is out of the picture when it comes to the future as my kids and grandkids need something far better. Unless there is drastic change with how people think then the Algarve is the answer offering a quality of life.
