How Have You Done This Year ?

I always struggle to work out how much I have grown over the last year and this year thanks to @3speak it is a little easier to calculate. They took a snapshot of our Hive Power on the 4th January which then resulted in 12 monthly airdrops of Larynx tokens. We have received 10 thus far so just divide your total wallet number by 10 and multiply by 12. I had 63 530 Hive Power on the 4th January 2021.

I am hoping to achieve 20KHP growth in one year and looks unlikely right now as we are running out of days. 82142 HP plus don't forget HBD as it gives a true reflection then. (311 HBD=1088 Hive) which will leave me short of 300 with 8 days to still go so I think it will be very close.

One cannot emphasize how much time goes into achieving these figures a sit is hours and hours every single day. This is where consistency pays off as this will be worth quite a bit extra when we achieve our next ATH. One has to think ahead as Hive possibly could be at $5 in a few years time so that is $100K earned within one year.

I don't see that figure however as I am more concerned about the vote value as for myself that is where I see the true value of Hive. Back in January I had a vote value of just over 3 Hive and now that sits at 3.74 Hive. This highlights how long the growth process is and how worthwhile achieving the gains really are.

Next year I can hand out an extra 1350.5 Hive to the community just by voting posts and comments. If we are all growing we are adding more to the eco system through the support we offer which is making Hive stronger. We all want hive to succeed and this is one way we can help by supporting the community as it takes a community to grow as this cannot happen on your own.

I am not one to set targets as how can you predict how much support you will receive on your posts? This is not something you can control as this is not in your hands. The only controllable is to engage more with others in the community and hopefully find some new followers along the way. This is what we call building your foundation as that process never stops.

At least this year we have a guide in where we were on the 4th January and would like to ask @khaleelkazi if we couldn't get a bigger timeline added to Hivestat.io as we currently have a 7 day and 30 day chart. It may be an easy add on I don't know but will certainly help users map out their growth. The more tools we have the better as I have found they help keep me motivated when things are slow.
