First time using the new Leo UI so I hope I have done everything right. It looks brilliant by the way and change is always welcome as that means new things are being developed and old ones improved upon.
Growing on a blockchain like Hive is very different than growing in other crypto as you have so many different factors as there are multiple areas that you can grow from. Hive may seem rather complex and a head banger until you crack the code. This is why understanding how Hive works takes time and why you should never rush into things. The more you understand the quicker you will grow. I think most of us are still learning and that is after 5 years so this learning part never ends.
When I first joined Hive I was part of the Redfish League which helped me monitor my growth and was kind of disappointed at the time when I grew out of the league and there was no other league to help you grow to become an Orca and then a Whale.
Well @zakludick thankfully is running a League for the South African's on Hive and I am now part of that which I don't really need anymore as I monitor my own growth weekly. I do think this will play an important role for all of those involved as it makes such a huge difference being part of a group concentrating on growth. It helped me and a few others who are still very active on Hive and it teaches you the disciplines of remaining consistent which is the key to growth. What tends to happen is you also get to know others in the League and you have a bond due to everyone growing together. You end up doing more as it becomes competitive and why those in this growth table/league tend to do better than those not involved.
Hivestats.io has a graph available for weekly and monthly growth which I use and keeping the line on a constant trajectory is the aim as you have good days and less good days, but it does somehow average out. Hivetasks.io is also good so there are two key sites that everyone should be using to monitor their growth.
If you are successful on Hive you will obviously enjoy it more as honestly you never forget the dark days of the first 6 months as it is a genuine struggle fighting for every Hive possible trying to establish yourself within the community.
The beauty about starting from scratch with no stake is other crypto projects look like a walk in the park as they don't pose as much of a challenge. If you can succeed on Hive there is nothing you cannot do. Hive was by far the biggest personal challenge I have undertaken and why having any tool to monitor the growth seriously does help. Being able to see the growth only inspires you to not only continue, but to do more. If you have ever doubted your abilities or questioned your growth then I suggest keeping an eye on your hivestats weekly chart as growth is happening all the time.
