The idea of being a democrat fully embodies the concept of non-violent politics.

Question is: how many people who consider themselfs a democrat does even believe and follow this concept of non-violent politics. My impression is that most people seem to be ignorant about it. They join rallies on one or the other side, just for the sake of protesting and rioting.

I actually do praise an ideal you've mentioned. I just do not believe in people. People will abuse any great idea and spit on. Democrats, republicans -> my impression is that for most people those terms bring only anger and frustration. Perhaps building a better society is only possible if we're not getting involved in policits (after all, politics always will divide us and turn one against another).
