HF21 definetly affected many users and changed general mindset on Steemit. Many projects (especially those relying on delegations) had to rethink their goals and strategy.

The most negative thing I have seen is that although you strive to establish a communication and leave valuable comments in the publications, people are not voting the comments as before, you do not get important votes no matter how good your comment is, logically with some exceptions

Indeed. As a marketer I always valued the fact that I can reward users for sharing their thoughts with me. And this kind of died-down a lot.

Anyway let me tell you something that I found interesting.
When I use project.hope with it's 170k SP to upvote with 100% VP some posts, then received rewards are actually quite shit:

At the same time I recently upvoted comment by @lanzjoseg: https://steemit.com/minnowbooster/@lanzjoseg/q0ysnp
And I've received 4.168 SP in form of curation reward.

So I received more from upvoting comment, than I could get from upvoting publications (some of them did very well exceeding 5$ in rewards).

Isn't surprising?
