The idea of launching a new token or project using an IEO instead of ICO, is based on "leveraging" the support and popularity of the exchange to favor the sale.

With all the cases and millions of dollars in loss of the money of the users that Bitfinex has had from 2015 to the present, I do not think it is the best choice to make an IEO.
