I've been visiting Israel and Palestine years ago (before war in Syria started) and I found this place so very sad and miserable.

Getting to know people who used to be tortured, hearing their stories of being arrested and locked for weeks for almost no real reason (throwing a rock was common reason to be arrested). All of it was so depresing.

I wonder how many people commit suicide over there. I probably would.

I'm Polish and I'm amazed that people who used to be targeted during 2nd world war and often tortured or kept in prison .. that those people created nation which isn't any different from those who made them suffer in the past. I just can't understand that :/
