Hello, Splinterlands players! I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoying their battles in the game.
Today, I’m back with another battle from Frontier Format. I'm playing this format daily and I thought I would share a battle that I won while working on my daily mission. My main goal is to complete the mission and earn Foundation Packs. You never know what you might get, and I’m hoping to find some useful cards and other valuable rewards that can help strengthen my collection.
But before we get to the rewards, let’s take a look at the battle that brought me one step closer to completing my mission. Hopefully, this victory will lead to some great pulls when I finally get to open my Foundation packs.
The battle modifiers had Global Warming and Equal Opportunity.
All units have the Burning status effect applied at the start of combat (At the beginning of round 2, burning has a 33% chance to spread to adjacent units. All burning units lose 2 health. Burning can be cleansed).
All units have Opportunity (targets the enemy unit with the least health).
Earth was not included in the elements so curing Burning with Cleanse is out of the picture. I chose the element which I thought will best capitalize on the two modifiers. I chose Fire.
Fire is the fastest team with the archon giving a speed buff. I also had Jolius Blast who has twelve hit points that will make him take damage and endure the burning effect. I had Agniavan Salamander that has Burst which will be optimized by equal opportunity modifier. The opposing team chose Water element and my team already had the edge in health. My team was faster, had higher hit points and attack. These factors paved the way for my win.
