The blockchain is a public, cryptographic ledger which lists and holds most properties of value in the form of data and cryptocurrency transactions (except for iotas; see this in a later post). The currencies are represented as cryptographic tokens and some as coins. All of these properties and their movements occur within and by the ethers of the internet. Ethereum, the main medium of exchange by which most cryptographic tokens and coins move, is as well represented as a token with a monetary value that fluctuates as does all other tokens and coins. It is the medium by which most other tokens and coins are built upon within the blockchain and which are traded and stored in the blockchain as well.
