Big blow for Chelsea, but sometimes these injuries are the best thing that can happen to a squad. Martínez has been solid, but Penders getting this shot could give Alonso a new option.

The London derby against Tottenham is going to be intense. If Penders can keep a clean sheet or at least keep it close, it'll give him massive confidence for the rest of the season.

The key for Chelsea is making sure the midfield controls the game. If they can win the battle in the middle, Penders won't have to face too many shots. The defense also needs to be organized — no easy chances for Spurs.

Wishing Martínez a speedy recovery. A fractured jaw is no joke. Hope he's back before the important matches down the line.
