Fair analysis, @twicejoy-sports. Bruno is carrying a heavy load and the frustration is showing.
The Leeds draw was frustrating to watch — not because Bruno played badly, but because United looked disjointed. When the midfield is disconnected from the attack, the captain becomes the sole link. That's not a player problem, that's a system problem.
Carrick needs to take responsibility. No amount of past glory at United excuses a tactical setup that leaves Bruno isolated. You can't expect one player to create chances, defend transitions, and score goals all at once.
The Cunha/Mbeumo/Amad combo is interesting. Cunha has the technical ability to link play better than most of United's current options. Mbeumo brings pace and directness. Amad, when fit, can unlock defenses. But they need a system that allows them to flourish, not just throw them in and hope for the best.
Dropping Bruno to the bench might help his confidence, but it also sends a message that the captain isn't trusted. That's dangerous for team morale. The real fix is fixing the system around him.
United have bigger problems than Bruno's form. They need a coherent tactical identity, not just individual brilliance. Until then, the frustration will keep building.
