I think silver stackers are some of the friendliest people around. I also didn’t realize how widespread stacking was. I love getting to the conversation about coins so I was actually talking to a friend’s father who ended up digging out and showing me his 5000 oz stack! Not only that he ended up handed me two coins that I thought I should have one being the Johnson Matthey The Right to Vote and A 1993 liberty dollar.
Johnson Matthey - The Right to Vote
1993 Liberty Dollar
Both are beautiful coins with a little bit of patina which being new to stacking seems like it can happen, but I just ordered some airtight holders to start collecting my coins so this does not happen to the rest of my stack.
Does anybody know if this adds or detracts from value?
I was also showing off some of my coins on Reddit and I actually got quite a few people saying that I should be wearing gloves when handling coins… Would you guys be recommending this as well?
