'll set my upvotes to 57 seconds or if possible just make it so my upvote is before any authors selfvote because that's the one I'd want to beat. After a week or so you could analyze when the author is getting the big upvotes and set it to be just before those.

When dealing with seconds, I'm not sure if it will work. Will it go by seconds or by blocks? Latency also becomes an issue.

Simple upvote bots are going to lose business from those looking to immediately profit from upvotes. Bots should be more about gaining rep and exposure.
