Last week we went Christmas shopping for the cat. At the pet store they had a promotion, spend $50 and get a $5 dollar gift card. Normally we don't fall for such silly marketing ploys but there were 'Catit' products on sale, kitty litter and we just needed 15 dollars to make up the difference, they got me good as I spend $15 more than planned on some cardboard and a pouch of kitty treats to get that $5.00 card. LOL.
Her fur looks brown in the light on this blanket but I assure you she is a grey cat.
It took her a few days to get used to her presents, we didn't wait for Christmas since cats keep a different calendar. I had to get a new water fountain that was specifically meant for pets, the previous one was a pain to clean and likely harboured all sorts of germs.
That is the Mini Catit Fountain, there is a basic filter and its flowing; cats prefer clean water. You want to encourage your cat to drink as much as possible to avoid kidney issues.
Here is the Christmas cat scratching sledge. This is the cardboard we bought to get the gift card. She went a week without scratching it but I caught her this morning, was being teased for wasting money but now it's all worth it!
It's a terrible photo but you can see her using the scratcher as intended and that's a win! I'll leave you to enjoy your Caturday with one last photo.
She took a walk outside in the snow. Some cats in the North have fluffy paws so their feet don't get cold. Stay warm everyone and enjoy the holidays!
