For this weeks contest I am going with the Gold Dragon! This is a splinterlands character that I have never attempted before, but it looked like fun!
I used this image for my reference and as usual I used Poser13 to create my piece.
I started out with a 3d mesh of my dragon.
Next, I added a golden texture to it, the texture does not look so good right now, but when It's rendered it will look a lot better.
I made the background black so that the scene would look more dark and menacing.
Then I rendered the scene and added some effects, to get the look I wanted.
Finally I animated the scene. Sometimes I like to listen to rap music when I make my art, but to make this gold dragon, I listened to Heavy Medal lol.
