Oh man. This is GREAT to learn. I had no clue. A lot of my childhood was molded by Mega Man. So much so that the first game I hade developed for GG DAO was HEAVILY influenced by it. I can't wait to try this and yea, super stoked they're doing a PC release as well. Though, I will still probably play it with a control just to revive that old feel.

If we have to choose a favorite then I've got to go with Mega Man X on SNES. It might not be the best overall, but it's the best to me because of how many hours, no days or weeks, combined I spent playing that game with my grandma and cousins. The nostalgia of that game makes it one of the best games of all time.

And since you mentioned Castlevania; my favorite is hands down Symphony of the Night. That is still one of the best games ever imo. Definitely on my top 10 list. Maybe even top 5.
