During the late night (or early morning) chat session in regards to problem of bots and spam accounts earning on curations, to my pleasant surprise, nice logic has been thrown on the table by @geekpowered .
The initial problem I described is based on the following premises:
The proposal:
Make a system to be less profitable to upvote the same person all the time.
To deploy this, wee need the formula out of the following logic:
Explained as a percentage P over a period of time T. After a defined P, every vote lowers in power and rewards.
This is the interpretation of the idea expressed by @geekpowered
The possibility of playing the system get's to a very minimum if we employ other parameters such as account creation fee, bandwidth and voting power so that the result of total input (via account creation fee) is always higher then possible earning through spam-like activities.
Conclusion basics:
What this proposal does in basics, is making non-profitable to engage into spam activities by make a system to be less profitable to upvote the same person all the time.
This will force eventual spammer into a direction of finding what to curate of a different person, with limited 'amount of tries' before it becomes unprofitable to perform it at random.
Bonus Idea:
Auto-delegation in addition to Steem Power.
Minnows that are good at curation, build up their delegation based on a curve in relation to Steem Power gains.
Funny part:
"May I use your idea in the proposal?"
"yeah, sure. I've been posting it everywhere whenever someone mentions the problem".
This is the very basic proposal of logic. If it happens there is an interest within the developers community, we can help making a more exact formulas and algorithm proposal.
Looking forward to hear opinions on this and thanks geekpowered for a productive chat session.
