I just watched this movie a little over a week ago. It was good and I enjoyed it, although I kind of knew the entire plot going in. And, at a small get together on the Fourth of July, I met a couple who was in the movie. They are polka dancers as a hobby and they got invited to be in the VFW scene as background dancers. It was neat to hear them tell about being on the set and how Eastwood did things. Since he was both lead actor and the director, I asked how things went...did he run things while acting or did he have someone else do it. They said, "Oh no, he was definitely running the show. He was the one saying, 'Action!'".
