Hey @johndeeback. I’m sure you have already seen by now that you have some upvotes and comments on your intro post. I left you with some words of advice and a helpful link. 😉
Communities were created for like-minded people of the same interests to share, communicate and be able to support one another easily. Before communities we did depend on tags and searching through them to find people and posts that intrigued us. Tags are still used and are still important to use wisely depending on your content and the topics you post about.
We encourage people to find and post in the appropriate community because you are more likely to get the support you desire (readers and commenters) and also friendships and new connections can develop that will really set you up well here. The other part of this is following the rules of each community you join so it’s important to go over those (each community has their own separate rules and guidelines).
You’ll quickly see that these communities run fun contests and activities that help keep you active.
The OCD Community is for
posts that do not fit in any of the other communities which is why it’s important to browse through them to see if your post content would fit better elsewhere.
