I finally finished my crocheted chain link necklace after working on it slowly throughout the weeks for a couple of months. 🪢
My plan was to show you both my daughter’s necklaces as well but...turns out the yarn I purchased for theirs is way too soft.
I could have easily doubled the yarn to make it work but I am dealing with some problems in my arms that are affecting the strength of my hands. I wouldn’t be able to deal with all that fighting and tightening of the yarn trying to maneuver it around the hook.
This is one of the reasons mine took so long because I had to take longer breaks in between to rest my arms and hands. I am glad I managed to get mine completed. I do still however plan on making theirs too. 😌
I did try making an anklet to match which was an awesome suggestion by 
When you last seen this necklace it still had a long way to go. I worked on it mostly during school when my kids didn’t need my assistance and sometimes after dinner.
Here’s the necklace now with the ends meeting halfway awaiting their connection to bring unity to the whole.

I really love the length on the necklace.
I recently wore it on Mother’s Day with a black and white striped shirt, jeans and my red flats. My family really loved it and I got a request to make one but had to decline due to the reason I already explained.
The only chain necklaces I’m making are going to be for my little girls. ☺️
I sure hope I can manage. 😬😳
These link necklaces really stand out. I wish I could quickly make more colors but that’s out of my reach for now.
