Last Saturday we celebrated my brother and his wife’s 9 year wedding anniversary! They wanted to get together with other friends to celebrate marriage. So a total of five couples celebrated together at a really nice seafood restaurant.

It’s always nice to get out and away from the house and take a break from mommy duties. As a SAHM I practically spend most of my time at home unless an opportunity like this comes up. It’s a good practice to date your spouse, get away from the norm and just go have some fun!

On the way to the restaurant my husband and I had a lot of fun riding in the back of my brother’s car. We had a selfie session that started out in model expressions and quickly turned to a goofy session...

I’m grateful to have such a close relationship with both my brother and SIL! We do quite a bit together. It helps that our kids are the same age and we value the same things and are like minded on how we live and raise our families.
