The surrenders/rollovers are not based on ranking, but rather focuses. An account with an ability focus that had a splinter focus the prior day in a rental is going to lay down to a bot with a splinter focus. Splinter focuses enable them to maximize rShares. If a bot account does not get a splinter focus for the 24 hour period, it remains dormant.
