Not may people understand that there is a huge difference between money and currency. Most people believe that they are the same thing. This is far from the truth. In order for something to be considered money, it must be interchangeable, durable, divisible, portable, and have a storage of value over a long period of time. The paper currency that is in your wallet and bank account IS NOT money; it is simply paper currency and numbers on a screen. Currency is portable, divisible, a medium of exchange, and is interchangeable. However, currency does not have a storage of value because there is more and more of it being printed every day, making it less and less valuable. The US dollar is the world reserve currency but is no longer backed by anything since President Nixon took the dollar off of the gold standard. It used to be, that for every dollar in circulation, there was gold to back it up that it could be exchanged for. All of the other currencies are tethered to the dollar, and now every currency is worthless. The only thing that is different between the currency in your pocket and Monopoly money, is the fact that you believe it has value.
It is historically proven, that all currencies fail; and we are in the period just before one of the greatest collapses ever experienced in human history. The monetary system is complex and confusing by design, to keep people ignorant of what is truly going on. The US Treasury need funds to fulfill promises, so I writes IOU's. It is a promise to borrow money and pay it back with interest. The banks buy the IOU's with checks written by the Federal Reserve, from an account that has a zero balance, and currency pops into existence. That currency is then used to fund the things the government promises to fulfill and is placed into circulation.
When you deposit your currency into a bank, the banks then lend out your currency but are only required to hold a certain percentage of it. Your account balance still shows that you have all of your currency even though it is being lent out. This is because of fractional lending. This is where the bank puts its own IOU in place of your currency called bank credit. This then makes more currency pop into existence. That currency continues to be deposited and relent over and over again, creating more and more currency. This increases the currency supply exponentially and makes the purchasing power of your dollar less powerful. As a result, the prices of goods and services must increase to absorb the increased supply of currency. Everyone then puts their valuable time, blood, sweat, and tears into earning this currency and are taxed to repay the Federal Reserve on lent out currency, drawn from an account with a zero balance.
This is how the government is robbing you and I of our wealth and precious time. A large portion of the circulating currency is being sent over seas and delays hyperinflation. However, when other countries don't want to deal in the dollar anymore, that money will flow back into the country and cause a huge collapse. The only way to protect your wealth used to be to invest in things that hold value such as gold and silver. Now we live in a new era and there is another option, cryptocurrency.
Just like gold and silver, cryptocurrency is portable, durable, divisible, and has a storage of value over a long period of time. Cryptocurrency should really be called cryptomoney because it fulfills every aspect of what money is. It is only a matter of time before everything comes tumbling down and those of us who have prepared for it will be left standing. Protect and educate yourself for you and your family's sake. Only the lazy and ignorant will suffer. Keep your wealth, precious metals, and crypto safe.
