Every day, I bring you eight posts you should think hard about upvoting and supporting. These are quality posts, well written and good examples of the best the community has to offer. Please consider checking them out, and if you agree, love them up.

On my way out the door to engage in a bit of serious madness, I give you a dose of the best of the site today. Contest winners, cleaning up the planet with game theory, picking an agent, working smart in all our online (and offline) ventures, it’s a plethora of great advice today.

Look, I’m agnostic on anthropogenic global warming, and I’m a skeptic that such warming is dangerous (relative to, say, things like malaria and xenophobia), but one thing I’ve never seen a disagreement about is whether humans could clean up a little better after themselves. Here’s a free-market analysis of how that could really happen. Really.

Writing (Craft): Picking The Right Agent by @talanhorne. A lot of noobs believe that if they can just land an agent, there will be milk and honey flowing all the time. Hahahahaha. No. Read this for more.

The admonition to “produce good content consistently” is one of the most common pieces of advice doled out to minnows. I don't like grammar and spelling errors. I make them, but I hate them. Unless the post is supremely brilliant, even a couple of these--especially in the title--will mean it doesn't make this list. NOTE: if you're writing in your second language, significant slack will be given here. When I write in my second language, I'm lucky if I can be understood at all.

Minnows--I am a minnow, and I'm all in on support for the newbies. Doesn't mean I won't curate a whale post, but it's unlikely. If your rating is over 70, you don't need my help (for whatever it's worth).
