Gadicheva is a small village in Belarus. One of the local attractions known as St. Catherine's Church is located in it. This Church began building in 1822 under the project and under the guidance of renowned English architect John Clark. The Church was built in honor of St. Catherine. It is also known that the construction of the Church associated with the name of the Russian Empress Catherine. That is the instruction in this village, it was decided to build a Church. The building style was classicism. In the same style built the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Gomel.
The Church has fallen on hard times. From 1922 it was closed, but in 1941 the faithful returned to the Church for the service. Later, between 1961 and 1989 the Church was again used for other purposes. And only in 1989 it held the service.
