Thanks for this footnote, and for bringing your "unthinkable" article to my attention... Good grief, the level of denial is incredible!😳

One of my recent insights is this:

We're plagued by two kinds of mindset: the power-hungry and the power-averse. As it turns out, these are complementary and symbiotic outlooks.

The power-hungry who succeed become our tyrannical masters. Why?

They are placed in that position by the power-averse, who shun responsibility and crave someone to tell them what to do and how to live.

I continue to be bewildered by the confusion in the church and I continue to write about it:
